3M™ 5536A Series Cold Shrink QS-III Splice Kit is an inline splice designed to join 35kV tape shield, wire shield, UniShield® or longitudinally corrugated shielded power cables. The cold shrink design fits type MV-90/MV-105 cables with copper or aluminum conductors, and ensures a quick installation and excellent cable size transitions. The kit is 15,000 amps-rated for faults current protection.
3M™ Cold Shrink QS-III Splice Kit 5468A is a cold shrink design sized to fit Type MV-90 or type MV-105 cables with copper or aluminum conductor sizes ranging from 350-1000 kcmil (185-500 mm ²). It features an insulation O.D. minimum of 1.24" (31.5 mm) and maximum of 2.07" (52.6 mm). Each kit contains;One 3M™ Cold Shrink Silicone Rubber Splice Body 5468A, one 3M™ Cold Shrink Jacketing Tube, two 3M™ Cold Shrink Adapter Tubes, two tubes of 3M™ Red Compound, six Scotch® Mastic Sealing Strips 2230, two rolls of Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228, one pack of 3M™ Neutral Pads, 3M™ Cable Cleaning Pads CC-3, one 3M™ Cable Preparation Template and one Instruction Booklet.
